Short backgammon is a two-player board game played on a special board split into two sides. While the exact origin of the game remains a mystery, historical records indicate that humans have been playing this game for more than 5,000 years. The most ancient known backgammon board was unearthed in Iran dating back to around 3000 BC. A similar game was also found in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankamen.
Even though the rules of backgammon are simple and easy to learn for beginners, winning requires logical thinking and a bit of luck. The game of backgammon consists of a special board, 30 checkers in two different colors, and two dice.

Cómo jugar
The objective of the game is to bring your pieces into the home zone and take them off the board before your opponent does the same. Players take turns rolling dice and moving their pieces by the number of spots rolled. The goal is to move all 15 of your pieces around the board, into your home zone, and then off the board. Each die roll determines the number of steps a player must move their pieces. Pieces can only move in one direction — from higher numbers to lower numbers on the board. Some key rules: - Pieces can only be moved to open spaces, not occupied by two or more opposing pieces. - Each die roll represents a separate move. - If a player rolls doubles, they get to play each number on both dice twice.
