This board game is one of the oldest in the world. Its origins stretch back so far into the past that it’s impossible to determine when and who invented it. Archaeologists have found traces of this game in ancient Troy (3000–2500 BC) and Pakistan (2600–1800 BC). They have also discovered numerous old game boards in Egypt, Armenia, Greece, Italy, Iceland, China, and other regions of the ancient world. No other game has ever reached such heights of popularity in human history.
This game exists in countless variations and goes by many names. Our app offers the classic European version.
You can play against the computer, with someone else on the same device, or challenge an online opponent in multiplayer mode.
Cómo jugar
Players take turns putting their pieces on the board, trying to position them in a row of three to make a "mill" and remove their opponent's pieces from the game. Once all pieces are on the board and no more can be added, players can move them to adjacent spaces to create a mill. Pieces cannot jump over other pieces or move diagonally.
When a player has only three pieces left, they gain an advantage and can move their pieces to any free space on their next turn. The game ends in one of two ways: either when one player has only two pieces left and cannot make a mill, or when a player successfully blocks their opponent from making any moves because all adjacent spaces are occupied.
